I'm 53 and have been trying to lose weight for the past 4 years with no results. I read everything I could find and tried working out like a madman, eating practically nothing and would see my belly keep getting bigger. Thank you for pointing out that for many folks this is an insulin problem. I never realized that those protein powders I would take after a workout and before bed were spiking my insulin and keeping it elevated. the good thing about nowadays we can replicate all kind of carb food in too fat version and it just takes a little bit of effort and to be honest I would rather eat stay away from carbs for life then be a slave towards carbs. also I'm drinking my keto bullet proof hot cacoa and it taste amazing with butter and heavy cream and stevia just get a milk fother to blend them all and get a thermo 16 ounch cup and enjoy the warmth and how it curbs your hunger away.

I keep trying to convince my father to go on a low carb diet but he is stubbern right now he is on a diet service company that makes his daily meals and I keep telling him that is not sustainable. and to be honest I ate the last 4 days 4k calories a day of high fat low carb just to see if I gain any bodyfat and what do I get I'm still slim with alot of muscle defintion right now I'm eating a daily of 2600 calories since I beleive I will still lose fat and gain muscle and feel happy everyday since I do a lot of push ups and chin ups and dips at home beside the days I go to the gym. I feel fantastic.

your right bob. I eat meat, eggs all cooked in lard. I read all labels and stay away from carbs and sugar. went from 280 to 226 and still going down. fat people make money for doctors, and scientist that make pills and meds. corps like monsanto bribe scientist and lawyers to defend bad diets. when you go to a doctor your a client not a patient. sick people are more lucrative for those in the food and medical bizz. Thanks for helping me change my life bro. Im tired of being a sheep fallowing the mainstream disinformation. Im watching the magic pill on netflix. If you havent seen it its worth a watch.
