The film crew tags a number of great white sharks to study their movement patterns along Australia's coast. When one of the devices washes ashore, could a killer whale be to blame?

Shark could have been hurt.....then got eaten......

what if it was just a fish eating the tag

I’ve seen this story like 20 times... when is there going to be something new and interesting about it?!?!?!?!

it could have been a sperm whale.

Could it be giant squids?

Could something have just bit the shark? Maybe eaten the tag?

An R.K.O in the middle of no wear

Does anybody else notice the C&C music in the background ?

Please. The tag fell off, another fish thought it was food and ate it.

Obviously attacked by another large shark (probably another GW). It took a huge bite out of it which had the transmitter attached and swallowed that. Seems logical to me.

May be Orca

Does anybody know where Alexis Texas has been?

Orca, what else? Orca known as a shark killer, they can even beat great white in one on one situation😏

I ate it. I'm sorry but I was starving.

There is no reason why megalodon needed to go extinct it's been swimming around forever why wouldn't it still be alive

Changes in the eco-system like food shortage (due to extinction of suitable or preferred prey items), climate change, closing off of access to vital nursery areas, evolution of competing predators are all reasons why this shark snuffed it. There are no good reasons to assume this shark still surtvives to this very day, least of all jumping to the conclusion the 3m tagged white shark was even eaten. For all we know it may have only been the tag itself that was ingested.

Megalodon ate her

Giant squid 🦑???

Still didn’t answer my quechon.😑

Godzilla is real

It doesn't necessarily mean it was eaten, it could have just been bitten and the tag swalloed with a chunk of flesh by a similar sized shark, it might even still be alive

A giant evolved ant army?

Octopus?

Squid?

AN EVEN BIGGER SHARK

Goliath grouper?

Probably your mom

I think an orca did it and the tag just sank to that deep depth after the shark was killed. There you have it.

I know what you're trying to pull here... OHHH MEGALODON MEGALODON!!!
Idiots... -.-

me

Did they ever think that a chunk of the shark was bitten off by a predator, and then ended up at shore in the animal's waste?

Umm maybe another shark

A three metre great white is only a juvenile. It was probably eaten by an adult which grow to over seven metres.

The tag probably came off and a tiger shark ate it......they are known as the trash eaters of the sea. They eat anything and everything.
I’m quite disappointed in Smithsonsian for producing and airing such an incomplete and terrible documentary.......if you can even call it a documentary.

Tigers sharks aren't in the Southern Ocean of Bremmer Bay. Too cold for them. It was likely a much larger great white.

I killed that bitch.

I'm guessing.... Chinese

What shark has a body temperature of 78? Sharks eat sharks all the time. There is a video on YouTube right now of a full grown hammerhead being eaten in its entirety by a tiger shark. So what animal has a body temperature of 78 degrees? Boom, question answered

White sharks are known to have a stomach temperature of around 25-26°C. We don't even have to assume the tagged shark was eaten. It may well just have been the tag that was ingested by another white shark.

Guys! Obviously, it's a Meglodon! Can't you see!?

Orcas
