As violence spreads across the country and rebels take control of key states we ask what can be done to ease the crisis. To discuss this, Inside Story presenter Fauzia Ibrahim is joined by guests: Barnaba Marial Benjamin, the minister of Foreign Affairs of South Sudan; Choul Laam, the chief of staff to the secretary general of the SPLM, that's short for Sudan People's Liberation Movement; and Aly Verjee, a senior researcher at the Rift Valley Institute in Doha.

Africa is under spiritual and physical bondage because their leaders are turning to outside forces for solutions to African problems when everything Africa needs is within .when African righteous people come together the world will come together Africa and African unity this is our divine destiny.

South sudan was the newest, youngest , richest in natural resources, but its heads of state put the nation into tribal civil war. If vice president tried a coup , he deserves to be punished for his selfish political interest. this is the conduct of african leadership style.

So South Sudan separates to become independent from the North. There is peace in the North yet these Southerners still kill each other. I can't help but wonder. This is what happens when you give uneducated blood thirsty Racist Mother F***ers a country of their own. I want a story that shows the North's side of the story. Enough Lies.

+SolidEye Ta2 and you started the foul language

+SolidEye Ta2 I'm a Southerner. A culture of war was developed in us when we tried to free ourselves from your oppression. Inevitable. Logic says that it will take another generation to change that. And the last time I checked, Sudan is not a peace.

+kwas yeboah I'm clueless? Not at all, I expect a counter argument! Not Foul language. See what I mean. I gave a good point and this is how they respond. Savages.

The violence is too extend in the country from gerrnmnt side kill th innocent civillian and burn the ash, looted the property of NGOS IN S.sudan, while rebel are not looting and not killing peoples if it is not a tribal war, why kiir order his special forces relative to him as gelwng to disarm nuer soldiers and kill nuer a lone?

WHat is the UN doing there in the first place? Why the fuck would you expect other countries to put their citizens in danger just for the sake o f a bunch of IDIOTS killing themselves. For all I care, they can fucking kill and burn themselves.. bunch of idiots. The UN needs to leave that fucking country. Leave them alone..let them kill themselves. Bunch of idiots.  Cant you see that these "people" are animals? Even the so-called animals are more civil. This just aches my heart. Common mennn. All for the sake of power. Bunch of idiots.  Instead of thinking about ways to make thier societies progress and come to par with other developed natures...these idiots are killing themselves.. Mennn I am sad..Oh by the way, I am an African..so dont give me the "racist" bullshit argument. Why cant we just love ourselves. Common mennnnn.. Common mennn.. What the fuck is this?  Are these really human beings?

The one person responsible for the carnage in South Sudan is none rather than Yoweri Museveni of Uganda. He instigated all this murderous campaign. Salva Kiir is a very weak leader and that's what Museveni has always wanted, hence his assassination of Dr John Garang.Museveni should get out of South Sudan now!

That chuol laam guy. And the Middle East dude. Have clear and very understanding opinions. Unlike that marial guy.

He's probably just some underpaid dog of salva kiir.

MY OPINION/S:

A GOOD LEADER IS, SOMEONE WHO CARE FOR THEIR CITIZENS, AND WOULD AT ALL COST AVOID WAR AND SEAKS OUT A PEACEFUL SOLUTION INSTEAD.

But Riek has already agreed to the peace talk just as long as the president releases the fellow SPLM members.

Again about the coup. Salva accused Riek of a coup but no evidences of the issue. In that case as a president what he could've done was release the SPLM members. And waits for evidences that they are about to over throw him.

And again his priority shouldn't be his chair as a president it should be his dear citizens. (He shouldn't care about losing power just as long as he know his citizens are goin be safe.

You know I wouldn't so much disagree to the rebels when the presidents won't even gives about their innocent citizens. All because of their self egos.

he thinks former VP Riek Machar is just power thirsty.

TALK ABOUT POWER THIRSTY.

WHAT KINDA F*CKEd UP SH*T IS THIS? WHY IS PRESIDENT SALVA KIIR THE PRESIDENT AND AN ARMY GENERAL AT THE SAME TIME WHY NOT GIVE ONE JOB TO SOMEONE ELSE?.
IF HES NOT POWER THIRSTY.
I KNOW HE HAS FOUGHT AND DEPENDED THE COUNTRY. UNLIKE ANY OTHER WARRIOR WHO FOUGHT AND DIED FOR SOUTH SUDEN.

WHY DOES HE FEELS LIKE THE COUNTRY HAS TO PAY HIM BACK

HES DONE HIS JOB AND SHOULD JUST BE PROUD. AND LET OTHERS DOES WHAT HE CANT. HES A SOLDIER, SO PRESIDENTIAL WORK ISNT FOR HIM. AS THE RESULT HE WOULDN'T SEAK A PEACEFUL WAY TO SOLVE ISSUES MUCH.

Some politician will be accountable for the killing of innocent civilian specially President Salva Kiir because he recruitment Malitia or special force/army who killed or targeted Nuer tribe. Current fighting in South Sudan could have been stop by President Salva Kiir because it started in presidential guards but kiir call it coup for the purpose to detain senior politician who call for democratic. Kiir plan to remain in power like president of Uganda who have special force/army and president of Sudan who detain senior politician. Kiir is not competence to rule that is why South Sudan become most top corrupted country.

Uganda's leader has chose to involve himself in an internal matter of South Sudan in support of one side against the other. The removal of Mr. Museveni should also be part of the nagotiation or at least be included in the dialogue to be held.

Fully agree with you.Without Museveni, the Great Lakes Region would be very peaceful today.Musevei has caused carnage within the whole region and yet the international community keeps patting him on the back.Remember,he and Paul Kagambe are intent on building a Tutsi empire in this region. We all need to sleep with our eyes wide open, otherwise we are all going to become slaves of these evil creatures.
