I'd rather just press a simple power button. There's no need to form Voltron everytime I want to watch TV.
That tv is made to impress.. to show off.. :D
can u use it for ps4 pro
"Oh shit my program is starting! Quickly turn on the tv!"
我想问下:香港哪裡还有卖BEOCENTER AB5 此型号摇控器？
This reminds me of that old comedy sketch with Harry Enfield and some lady, it was shot in Kensington & Westminster area. It was an antique shop full of rubbish old furniture and pointless items with huge price tags, the posh and eccentric lady would ask how much for this lamp shade darling, to which Harry replied, £2000 my dear and in a low voice would say it was £300 until I saw you coming my love... Lol
fact is though the price with B&O stuff is justified. Yes you can get cheaper stuff, but its all about the design and craftsmanship of a B&O product. Most of them are all hand built in their factory in Denmark and mainland Europe.
Get over your self and stop moaning about perfection.
can someone lend me $12,000
why is this comment on every B&O video???
More like $85 000
I really like B&O. This particular model though, is too much. And not very elegant.
that would be sick
does anyone know the name of that song that is playing?
Yeah its like having giants have sex in your living room XD
i would so hook up my computer to this for gaming!
Nice wheels. lol
LOL i thought an 8k tv would cost around $100k, that's what i heard from sharp, maybe it was the 4k tv.
Snell THX Reference speakers are the best in the world, so I would automatically choose them if my budget was limitless! Not saying the KEF Blade is bad or anything :) I'm agreeing with you that this TV is a piece of shit. a $2000 Epson or Sony projector can outsize and outperform it! But what 8K TV can you get for $120 000? Panasonic has a $930,000 state of the art 8K TV. Totally worthy of the ultimate Snell THX Reference!
I have seen it in action and it is mediocre. The Panasonic VT50 65" will DESTROY it performance wise. Even an Epson TW9000 or Sony HW30, JVC X-30 produce much better picture quality, let alone the TW91000, HW50 and X-35! And those are all mid range $3000 projectors that can be easily displayed on a screen size larger than this B&O.
My Optoma projector cost me 400 pounds. it's 1080p, 3D etc and that does me perfectly
I am actually thinking of getting those speakers for my computer room, it's price is amazing for the quality.
i think kef ls50 is enough :D ,those little speakers rule!
hmmm it cost almost $120000 and you will only get 1920x1080 resolution NOT WORTH IT (aside from the sound i can always get better speakers that are 100x cheaper and better), i rather get an 8k tv that cost half as much but with 7680 x 4320 and KEF BLADE speakers.
That is the question...
I would kick that fucking thing right off the stand because what I wanted to watch in the first place would be over by the time the picture came on. 136 grand for that!
a B&O will blend the Blender ; )
No need to, Just watching it turn on Gives me an Orgasm!
this is one tv im willing to go broke for.
What fals claims....B&O used tubes from Philips for years...today they use Samsung LCD panels and Panasonic Plasma panels. Why should they NOT use these things....they are not big enought to produce them and therefor the buy panels that live up their specs. If you take the BV7 the raw LCD screen is from Samsung and the rest is custom made by B&O. The BV4 is a raw Plasma from Panasonic and the rest i custom made by B&O. How is that different than the PC industri...they all use Intel and AMD.
fine, but the truth is in the pie, B&O have made false claims in the past and right now many of the other brands produce better items at a better value. look up phillip's B&O connection, you wouldn't spend serious money on Phillips then why would you on B&O? Manufactures inter-change components all the time but they don't make all the claims.
Let me tell you one thing......if you WANT to find something bad on the internet than you WILL find it. You have had a bad experience with B&O and thats fine.....but some things on the internet are false, some are halftrue and some are true. And if you hate B&O than keep it to your selv. I love SOME of their product.....but not all. I have a Panasonic plasma tv and a Yamaha setup so I am not a fanboy....just being fair to them (and I know their products very well)
Here's the link fanboy:-
Yes B&O did claim their products incorporated gold solder, which was false and the B&O centre nearest to me is in a house of fraser (Brum). Search B&O and phillips in google and read, I know it must be heart breaking!!!
Your claims and statements are a joke. What cheap Taiwanese did B&O rebrand and sell? And your statement on the Phillips and part gold solder?? And in what store did you get an NO to a picture quality test (give me the name of the store). I have worked with flatscreens for a long time now....and here in 2012 the top line from Pioneer (from 2007/2008) are still a stunning tv, but both the Panasonic GT50/VT50 and the Beovision 4 (with System3 Mk3) and Beovision 12 are in the same league.
R u a B&O fan boy?? the margin you speak of isn't profit its greed, any way B&O used Philips components and claimed to utilize part gold solder, REALLY!!! Samsung and LG produce panels but B&O stuck to CRTs for a very long time, also 2008 the CEO was fired.I've tested the screen next to a Pioneer (plasma) and the B&O just couldn't handle the blacks and frame issue. The only system that blew me away was a customized Tag Mclaren again the cost was beyond belief. In truth it's style over substance.
B&O hasn't made their own screens for years. They are far too small for that. Just like some other smaller producers. B&O buys their screens mostly from Samsung, who has the best quality standards, according to B&O specifications. They differ from the screens that Samsung sells under it's own name. So that to me sounds like good business. B&O's margin is small compared to other CE producers. An Iphone costs USD 196 to manufacture but Apple sells them for USD 399. You do the math...
You can even google B&O and read about it, also find articles some years ago they were caught re branding a cheap Taiwanese tv and selling it for major bucks.
That is rubbish. I've seen this machine in action and was very impressed!
Absolute crap, tested the image next to popular brand HD tv's the image was rubbish, B&O made a reputation on flawless lies, just visit any B&O centre and demand a picture quality test they wont let you.
gimme one pliiiiiiz. i would make a 1080p HQ edited review about this !
a tv for the very rich. wow what next?
gran turismo music
@MZPtutorials better than buying 20,000 dollar bottless of champagne
this thing would knock down half of my room wile turning
that's not escaping into a movie
it's more for like a mirror as a tv.
I want to see the movie, not my fat wifes face on the body of Jolie.
Can you use a beovision 4-65 without the beosystem3? (I dont see an on/off switch or button on the 4-65 i was looking at which is why i am asking.)
This is just a overpriced Panasonic....is something I hear often. The "raw" plasma is a Panasonic but the picture "engine" is all B&O. If I take an PC monitor and try it out with 2 pc's...one is 15 year old with Win95 and the other one is brand new with Win7....will I get the same experience, the same performance, the same possibilitys?? The monitor it selv is a factor (of course) but the engine and the software is the big difference.
do many wires!!! ick
@mrmoo232 The old LCDs used to be Samsung derived, the newer ones are Sharp. The plasmas have always been manufactured by Panasonic. All screens are bespoke for B&O though - they don't simply re-case a standard LCD/plasma. None of the screens have sensors behind or in front - the plasmas have an inbuilt IR receiver at the top which doubles as a light sensor, and the new 'curved bezel' models such as this 103" also have a small camera inbuilt to monitor screen output every 100 hours.
Im lucky enough to have Bang & Olufsen store close to me and have seen a few of their products including that TV.
All very nice, but i cant afford it.
Price tag is $96,000. if you have to you can't afford it.
Nice cables...laid bare on the floor: especially good after spending a fortune on equipment.
